Stephanie Richardson, MHA
Meet the CEO
Stephanie Richardson’s journey began in New York's bustling boroughs of The Bronx and Harlem, where she led initiatives in homeless shelters, igniting her passion for community service and healthcare. Her hands-on leadership across ten sites showcased her commitment to making a real difference in people’s lives. Stephanie's career blossomed as she took on supervisory roles in Ryan White Part B Care Management and Health Home Case Management, focusing on the health challenges faced by families living with HIV/AIDS, mental health and intellectual disabilities in the Medicaid population.
Her undergraduate studies in Psychology and Sociology, combined with her drive for community work, laid the foundation for her compassionate approach to healthcare. Elevating her expertise, Stephanie completed her graduate studies in Healthcare Administration, earning a scholarship for Women in Leadership. This led her to a crucial hospital director role at an Advanced Wound Care Center, further refining her administrative and healthcare prowess.
At BirchWood Health, Stephanie's vision comes to life. She blends her rich experience in non-profit and healthcare sectors to offer accessible virtual psychiatric services and therapy. Her leadership reflects a deep-seated commitment to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment for all, especially the underserved.
